Your tasks mainly include:
- Chartering for our own coaster fleet
- Brokerage (exclusive & competitive)
- Customer care and advisory service (charterers as well as shippers)
- Issuance of charter parties
- Post-Fixture Chartering
- Calculation and monitoring of lay days
- Pre- and post-calculation of voyages
Your qualification and skills:
- An completed apprenticeship as shipping clerk (w/m/d) or similar
- Well knowledge of spoken and written English
- Relevant professional experience in the chartering business
- Experienced handling of MS Office applications and in common IT systems
- You have excellent communication skills and you are focused on a distinctively customer service orientation
- The strength of being able to organize and to promote sales and marketing independently
- You work independently, meticulously and you are able to deal with stressful situations
- Structured and precise way of working as well as huge analytical skills
- A high degree of ability to work in a team and of flexibility
